Yachen Gar Precious Incense

This is a superior incense made by the nuns of Yachen Gar (Yachen Orgyen Samden Ling), a Nyingma monastery some 4000m above sea level, about 400km from Lhasa. More than 30 ingredients include cedar, red and white sandalwoods, saffron, clove, nutmeg and other herbs. This is a lovely, soothing vegetarian from the eastern highlands of Tibet. It is intended as merit offering to the Buddha and Triple Gems and to aid in meditation practice. (Note: The wonderful, rich scent unfolds a few moments after the smoke settles)
