Laya Village in Bhutan’s high Himalayas
$8.95
This is a most rare, pure and exotic sang – fragrant roots collected by the people of remote Laya village in the high Himalayas of Bhutan. Our Bhutanese source says: “they camp in arduous high mountains, digging up and drying these roots, making them ready for burning as incense – then 3 days through mountain passes to reach the city market.” Layap Sang is so pure it can be used in Riwo Sangchoe rituals. Burning a small amount release earthy, pungent aromas singing with subtleties – and like all superb things in life, reactions to this treasured sang will vary.
