Such a lovely assortment of incense from an incense tradition I haven’t tried before. The Mongolian incense are much more subtle than I expected them (save I suppose the Hong Rong Kou, which is a bit pungent as described, but despite that still not as in your face as some Tibetan and Bhutanese incense can be) to be having read their ingredients. Subtle and and great for a more reflective experience, as a lot of the ingredients in them seem to disappear when you notice them, only to resurge again off and on and they waft through the air.
I think, though at a more cursory sniff, that the Dawei Chende and Yingxiangzi are my favorites out of the bunch. Definitely my favorite collection box out of the many I’ve tried from this site so far, as I enjoyed all of them very much.
Also, thank you to the team for providing such a wonderful variety of incense to us. This site has become my default for anything Tibetan, Bhutanese, and now Mongolian as far as incense goes. Thank you!
