TPN Nectar Loose Incense

$17.95

  • CAD: $25.47

A fragrant, mild and soothing therapeutic loose incense, aromatically lighter than the stick variety. Excellent for offerings, meditation practices and room cleansings. The incense was originally compounded by Sir Kenrab Norpu, famous astrologer and master of the Traditional Tibetan Medicine and 1st President of Menzikhang (Lhasa Traditional Tibetan Medicine Hospital) in the mid 20th century. TPN includes sandalwood, borneol and other precious herbs. Mike at Olfactory Rescue Service notes: “… the more I experiment with the powder, the more it feels like it’s its own entity. This is the sort of powder that reminds me of southwestern smells like mesquite, cedar and corn chip; however, that’s really only part of the story and more of this comes out the longer it is being heated. If you know the stick there is certainly some common ground with this loose blend, but it’s not enough to be duplicating it. There feels like some sort of amber scent in the mix, a touch of rhododendron and a whole heap of muskiness….really fruity, almost nectarine like presence on the top of the heat that really takes this in a different direction and the way it interacts with all the previous notes I mentioned is extremely fascinating and well-crafted.” Made by Traditional Tibetan Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, est. 1696. (app 250g)
