Like the description states, this incense is pungent. The first time I tried it, I only noticed the smell of burning leaves. I’ve sat with a few sticks and became more familiar with the subtle, complex undertones which are quite pleasant. Yet still, the pungent burning leaves smell (which I believe is Tibetan rhododendron leaves) is the leading scent though is neither harsh or overpowering. It seems to be made from high quality herbs. I find it easy to inhale and have noticed an improvement in the deepness of my breath. I feel the medicinal qualities of this incense.

This is an absolutely lovely incense that after getting settled in, though not after long, I personally find greets me with a bit of soft maple and toasted malt playing with a more white oud over the gentle smoky sweetness of smouldering damp wood and saffron with a bit of sunflower. I’m absolutely in love with this, and seem to be more taken with it by the wisp. This is one I could (and already have) burn just about all day. Not too heavy or smoky either, nice lingering smell although I personally wish it lingered even longer and stronger but that’s just because I love it so much! If you’re hesitant at the investment for something you’re uncertain of I can definitely highly recommend the Tibetan Therapeutic Collection which this is a part of!

Beautiful incense! I have this as part of a sampler, and it is my favorite. Smells of cinnamon, saffron, and rhododendron mix with the smoky sweetness of the woods. The smell lingers long after the stick has burned. Like others, I too could burn this every day. It says it balances chi and clears the mind – I can definitely attest to that. Highly recommended by this Tibetan incense fan!
