A wonderful incense from Gangri Thökar Nunnery (Nyingma tradition). It is named after the famous peak in Central Tibet about 25km s-sw of Lhasa. Contains black myrobalan, known as “King of Medicines” in Ayurvedic Materia Medica, white sandalwood, red sandalwood, six excellences: clove, nutmeg, saffron, alpiniae katsumadai seed, fructus amomi and herb of tabasheer. The aroma is rich and herbal, offering many complex tones. It is said to help clear negativity and bring one into a more balanced state.

This is indeed a wonderful incense and quite unique in its scent. I love being surprised by a new discovery to my nose.
The nun that tied this bundle of mine did not mess around either. I usually use a tweezer to pull sticks out without untying the strings. I like to minimally disturb.
