Ba’er Qude Si was originally built in 1195 and is part of the Kagyu tradition. The Monastery was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution and rebuilt in 1984.
Ba’er Qude Si Cone Incense is very reminiscent of the stick version and is prepared according to traditional methods. The fragrance is wonderfully pungent (and quite similar to the stick version). Different ingredients are listed, and include white and red sandalwood, safflower, clove and other ‘natural, medical ingredients’.
Ba’er Que Si cones are available in either yellow or red packaging depending on the source. The last shipment received was yellow only.
Approx. 25 cones per pkg.
