Located in Dagzê County, Lhasa, Ganden Monastery is one of the “great three” Gelug university monasteries of Tibet, China. It was founded by Je Tsong Khapa Lozang-dragpa (1357–1419) in 1409, founder of the Gelug order. The term ‘Gelug’ is an abbreviation of ‘Ganden Lug’, translated as ‘Ganden Tradition’). The monastery was destroyed sometime after 1959, but has since been partially rebuilt. (courtesy wikipedia)

Very pleasant. This incense has the “Tibetan Signature” scent, but in a nicely toned-down version…very gentle and slightly sweet-ish, with notes of cypress, cedar, and saffron. Great to fumigate your room, and also to prepare yourself for meditation or Yoga / Qi Gong.
