Well-known for its lovely interior and striking zen garden, Ryoan-ji Temple is one of Kyoto’s most famous. It used to be known as the temple of mandarin ducks which frolicked in a pond made in the 12th c. It was originally a country house of the Tokudaiji Clan and acquired as a Zen training temple in 1450 and registered as a World Heritage Site in 1994.

Memory incense is exclusively made for the Temple by Shoyeido.

This is the most beautiful incense I’ve ever bought. Last year I visited Roanji temple and meditated in the rock garden (I’ve studied Usui reiki for over 10 years). I’ve never felt such amazing energy, and so quickly. I bought 3 boxes of this incense when I was there and now I’m running out. I can’t find it online anywhere and I’m hoping that you might deliver to Australia when you have some more stock. ? It is AMAZING and takes me back to the temple every time I light it. Please please please find me some more. It is soooo beautiful 🙂
